I am Ojiem Nixon, an enthusiast software developer in the field of Information technology and computer science. I am currently pursuing a degree in Information technology at the Multimedia University Of Kenya. I major in web development and android application development. I'm experienced in Javascript, Java, HTML and CSS. with these programing languages I can develop applications and web pages. I did my primary school studies from 2005 to 2012 in Arya primary school Kisumu, then graduated to high school, where I studied from 2013 to 2016 in Maranda high school. I then managed to qualify for higher learning in Multimedia University of Kenya where I'm pursuing my Bachelor in science Information technology. I expected to graduate in 2021 December God willing. My career objective is to improve my ability and skills, so that I can offer top services to my clients and potential employers. To achieve this, I must be ready to work hard and always be ready to learn and be correct. I intend to be industrious and work hard towards this goal.
in 2019, from first june to 30th August I worked as an intern in Kisumu County Hospital, in the department of Information communication technology. during this time I gained networking skills such as crimping network cables and assembling a switch cabinet. In this environment I learnt how to work with my colleagues and the benefits of teamwork. In 2020 I worked as a data clerk from September until later October. In this period I was taught the relevance of time keeping and effective communication in the work environment. It also instilled discipline and more work ethics. lastly, in 2021 January to March I worked as an intern in the Information Communication Technology department in Kisumu, under ICTA Athoourity. During this period I worked as an intern and learnt new skills such as programming servers, formatting and installing windows operating system, creating a network simulation among others. I have gained much experience from these activities and managed to learn new skills to better the services that I offer.
I believe that good deeds happen to those that stay true, this is inline with hard work earns reward. Through hard work and self-assessment do we improve our skills and abilities. My core values include innovation, commitment, integrity, creativity, passion, growth and connectivity. Hard Work and consistency are important in a work environment in order to achieve high returns. In Conclusion I intend to offer my skills the best way I can and to allow room for improvement and correction by my colleagues.
